CAIRO – 03 October 2017: Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo adds three unmarked La Liga games in one of his worst goal scoring streaks since he joined Santiago Bernabeu in 2009, but it is the worst start since then.

He has never started such a “dry” season. He accumulated 270 minutes without scoring, approaching his two worst records: the worst was 336 minutes and the second was 309 minutes without seeing a goal.

Last season, he had his worst record: 336 unmarked minutes between the 27th and 35th round in the Spanish League, a period in which four full matches are included.

He scored in the 40th minute against Real Betis, but he did not score any goals against Athletic Bilbao, Alavés, Atlético Madrid and Barcelona. He scored again in the 26th minute against Valencia. In total were 336 minutes. Against Bilbao, he did not get to play the full match, as he was replaced in the 80th minute.

A season earlier, the Portuguese striker also remained “missing” for 309 minutes. It was the time between his last goal against Espanyol in the 80th minute and his next goal, five rounds later, against Levante in the 29th minute. Against Granada, Athletic, Malaga and Atletico, he did not score any goal.
